We traveled to Fuji with a big desire like any other tourist, to check out the Fuji mountain, however, it didn't go so well haha.
We were staying at a Hotel near Shin-Fuji so that we could make our trip to Osaka 2 days later.
Honestly, our first impression, Fuji is an industrial site with many factories around, you can see a lot of cars driving around (and many of them are on sale too, old cars). We were surprised (compared to our Tokyo trip).
Around our hotel, there weren't that many options for lunch & dining. The nearest FamilyMart is 2 km (1.2 miles) away.
The weather was not so gorgeous, it was raining and cloudy. We couldn't see the top of Fuji Mountain.
So we decided to take a bus and went to Shiraito Falls.
Shiraito Falls is lovely, not too crowded and we can go around the local area to explore. Definitely worth.
