This was my first-ever abroad trip, really excited especially since this is Japan we are talking about ❤️. We (me and my wife) were really looking forward to this trip - a honeymoon trip.
Everything was prepared in exactly 1 month (request for a VISA, itinerary, plans, etc). We don't expect much, for this trip, we want to know and learn more about Japan.
First day
Arrived in Narita and then rushed to Shinjuku (where we booked a small self-check-in apartment - which is really cool and independent).
The plan was that we would visit Tokyo Skytree, then Tokyo Tower, and back to Shinjuku for food and entertainment. But the plan failed 🤣.
We spent so much time finding the routes, learning about the Subway, and walking A LOT. So in the end, we were only able to visit a part of Shinjuku.
Second day
We went to Tokyo Tower (finally), then Tokyo station (because we had a trip to Fuji, so I wanted to know how to get to the Bullet Train/Shinkansen station).
We also wanted to visit a park next but the rain had happened, so we changed the route and visited teamLab borderless instead.
Last day
We checked out, returned the apartment, went straight to the Tokyo Station, and stored our luggage there.
We went to the park we wanted to visit yesterday, had lunch, then went back to the station for the next town.
Lol we missed our booked train to Fuji (we didn't know how to enter the station, by the time we arrived at the platform, the train was leaving the station, there goes our green car tickets 🥲). However they did let us to go to the next train, normal seats (fair enough, I did miss the train).
